Alice (Aj)'s Story
I have been married for 37 years and have a son and a daughter.
My career has been as an educational therapist for 25 years. I have worked in public and private schools and then spent the last 11 years in private practice working with adults and children with dyslexia and autism. This work has allowed me to travel to speak at symposiums, teach workshops, and to work with clients unable to come to me. At this time, I am developing and leading a women's spirituality group and studying the use of Equine Assisted Therapy.

learned to make from someone who worked for Jim Henson, as powerful therapeutic tools for helping children learn appropriate social skills. I think there are neuro- pathways in my brain that are now these puppets!
Periodically I have had the joy of working with my daughter who is a psychologist with a specialty in wilderness therapy. At times we have worked together with the therapeutic work in dyslexia and autism.
In fall 2007, my husband and I moved to Minneapolis, Mn and have been enjoying playing in the snow! I am one of the few people who live here that came with a tan.
